I should explain: much as I want to put the 'Cats back to bowl eligibility, this is just a murderer's row of games, especially Halloween onward, when a road date with hapless Minnesota is Northwestern's best chance for a victory (@Oregon, Iowa, @OSU, @Minnesota, Illinois). A 3-0 non-conference is almost mandatory, and games with FCS powerhouse South Dakota State and Big XII wildcard Colorado are just too much for me. I'm sure others are more confident for no better a reason, though.
