Happy goddamn Friday. It's been a weird week! Usually, when I write that sort of thing on a Thursday evening/Friday early early morning, I'm eliding past the horrors that have occurred in the preceding days. This time, I say with slight hesitancy but plenty of glee: It's been a weird week!
I'm a pessimist by nature and by nurture. I don't feel very comfortable with positivity. And yet, the magnitude of what has occurred over the past few days is slowly hitting me, albeit with hesitancy and plenty of "where is that fucking shoe and why isn't it dropping?"
This strange little place has been a haven of community, of shittalk, of weirdo internet friendship. I am immensely grateful to all of you for being part of this project. As always: We have friends everywhere.
