I'm going to keep this short and sweet because I've been sick for a few days now and my brain has probably turned to mush.
Quiet week in the survivor pool with only a single survivor falling out and three things to mention regarding those who were already in the losers' pool. Things get even more challenging this week for our Elite 8.
SeeJayBee picked October Maryland to beat Rutgers. They thought they might regret it and were correct - although it was a closer than (I) expected game against Rutgers.
In the losers' pool, OhioOtter declined to participate confirming what we all already knew: she's no loser. Badgersrox failed to select a team to lose (they selected Washington to beat Purdue). Better luck next year.
And finally I have to figure out what to do with meangene86. Now, meangene86 was our legend's pool winner this season. He picked Purdue to lose. However, since I became sick late Friday I'm not entirely whether meangene86's pick was submitted before kickoff. I honestly don't know how Hyvor's commenting time system works. I write this at 7:02 PM on Tuesday night and the post says 3 days ago. Does that mean 72+ hours? Or Saturday? I have no idea and quite frankly I'm in no shape to figure it out. So, we will go with the honor system. Meangene86 - tell us whether you picked Purdue to lose before their game on Friday or if you got it in late.
