Down to single digits in the survivor pool as three more contestants bit the dust thanks to the dominance displayed by the black and old gold/yellow teams teams this past weekend. The Otters (Alma and Ohio) relied on Washington while Badgersrox trusted hated Minnesota only for the Gophers to let them down. Nine survivors remain.
The losers' pool was a bloodbath as 20 contestants either voluntarily opted out, misunderstood the rules of the losers' pool, or picked the wrong team to lose. Several unfortunates didn't learn the lesson of week 5: don't follow BoilerUp89 when making your picks. Yours truly is done with the survivor pool but is thankful for a reduced field halfway through the season.
Nine losers remain with TheDuluthPerspective and waw having been in the losers pool ever since trusting Rutgers back in week 1. The remaining seven losers fell from the survivors' pool in the last two weeks. They were either Purdue'd or trusted Washington to win. Purdue plays Washington this week.

For my two cents, Hoosiers47 has the clearest path to a perfect season with HoustonBoiler close behind. There are no two identical sets of picks remaining.

Losers' Pool
20 eliminations for the losers' pool in week 5.
Six declined to participate in the losers' pool. Three contestants (Wacker Era Survivor, Nothsa, RockyMtnBlue) selected a team that they had picked in the survivors' pool (Nothsa's pick USC won anyway). Tralfaz picked a team to win instead of a team to lose.
Meanwhile several contestants (MiddleWestAverage, BradNortmansActingCoach, tech01, NU06er, and BoilerUp89) determined UCLA's most likely loss was to Oregon and now know that UCLA will be going 12-0. Purdue eliminated ExiledinVT. USC did SkyBlueH20 in. Iowa removed tech01 and the Iowa/Indiana good luck picks by Atinat saw them drop out.
