WWBWWBD - Week 7

Ready to discover what wild plans your “writers” are unleashing this weekend?

WWBWWBD - Week 7

Consider this your weekly scouting report: the places we’ll turn up, the drinks we’ll put away, and the elaborate maneuvers required to keep college football safely off the agenda. That’s Where We Be, What We Be Drinking (WWBWWBD).

Biff: Minnesota is mercifully on a bye so I'm considering heading to Allianz Stadium to be disapointed by the Loons instead. Failing that I'll be on my couch drinking fresh hop IPAs from Little Thistle Brewing here in Rochester.

IUinVA: Family is in town to watch my son play baseball. Oh, is Indiana playing a game this weekend that I’ll now have to watch with five more people talking, running around, and jumping to extreme conclusions about my team based on the outcome of each play? Well, that's fantastic.

MNW: Sartre was right, man.

glass: After 11 days in Puerto Viejo, I'll finally be home in Indianapolis. A Friday night game means I'll be listening to the radio call while working on the endless list of chores around the house and drinking a garage beer or four.

MNW: Back in the sunny suburban Twin Cities, enjoying a crisp fall day with nothing at all to d--haha just kidding, of course there's another random kid's birthday party we're going to on Saturday morning. IF, by some miracle, I'm not going to that (because it might be at a play gym and Wildkit #2 isn't invited), it'll be on the couch and all around the MNW household, chasing Wildkit #2. The upside of that is I won't have to watch if the standard "Ranked Northwestern" bullshit bites us in the ass against Pat Fitzgerald.

Cake and pop if I'm at the party. Cake and fish if I'm at home. Fish and pop for those who get this.

RUReady4Brazil: After a week in Florida, I'll be back in Charlotte for the Rutgers-Maryland Super Bowl .. er Toilet Bowl ... er whichever coach loses is walking home bowl. Drinking Champagne because either Rutgers wins a Big Ten game OR a new regime is upon us.

lincolnparkwildcat: I'll be watching the game at home in suburban Chicago, drinking my regular IPAs.

BoilerUp89: Friday night game! In Cincinnati. At home or at a bar depending on what mood I'm in at the end of the week. Drinking whatever I pick up at Jungle Jims or whatever the bar has that isn't watered down light beer or an IPA.

Brian: I'll be in beautiful Ann Arbor, Michigan this weekend for what is surely the national game of the week between Michigan and Penn State.

MaximumSam: Chateau Westerville. My name kid has a band competition in Indianapolis and doesn't get home until 3 am. Luckily, I don't think I'm on the hook to pick her up, which is good with the noon kick. Will try to hold off drinking until things get hairy, so probably having some whiskey by 12:07.

He was a high school QB: I’ll likely be working at a grain elevator in southern Minnesota drinking water or crappy coffee.

RMB: Per usual, I'll be sitting on a recliner sectional in my basement, shitposting about 4 games at once!  And then I'll turn off the damned TV about 2:30.

Buffkomodo: I'll likely be in Waynesfield, Ohio drinking Hoosier gameday lager. Unless my wife pisses me off in the next 24 hours then I'll be in Cincy. Fluid situation of I don't want to do what she's planned.

HoustonBoiler: Friday night game means the weekend kicks off at full speed: straight from work to the couch, pizza in hand, wine flowing, and the TV fired up. The grand finale? Most likely powering through the remainder of Season 4 of Ted Lasso.

AlmaOtter: After consecutive weekends of FiL ER visits, second and third ER visits, and my mom coming to town, I am supremely excited to sit on my ass and do fuckall. Even better: Illinois isn't playing and therefore can't show their entire Bert-sized ass! And I found a surprise Great Lakes Nosferatu imperial red IPA hidden in my beer fridge. I can't fully express how delighted I was to discover this remnant. We'll start there.

Now you know our plans for the weekend. Please enlighten us about where you'll be and what you'll be drinking in the comments below. And hey, we know you didn't read this. 😉
