Where We Be, What We Be Drinking (WWBWWBD) is our weekly peek into where we’ll wander, what we’ll sip, and how we’ll bravely avoid college football on gameday.
misdreavus79: Figuring out how to get the Peacock On YoutubeTV thing working so I don't have to relegate my own team's game to the iPad.
BuffKomodo: Cincinnati. Basement bar for the Friday night game. Garage beer lime and Hoosier gameday lager the drink. Thankfully the kids should go to bed around kickoff. Unthankfully my son has pictures at 8:15 AM Saturday.
BRT: Lincoln. Meeting the boyfriend's kids for the first time, so no drinking. Just stressing.

Biff: I'M ON A BOAT with 30 of my best friends cruising Lake Washington and crushing Rainiers. I can only presume that Broken Island and Number 2 Island are previews of what my Gophers will experience that day but hope and hangovers spring eternal.

glass: Gotta work. So I'll be drinking water at the library while refereeing octogenarians locked in a bitter feud over mahjong and ignoring texts from my brothers and dad as ND runs up the score.
BoilerUp89: Up in Centerville, OH attending a wedding of a coworker. Hes a Purdue grad and knows its perfectly acceptable to have your wedding during the bloodbath that will be Purdue/ND. If Purdue fires Kevin Kane before kickoff I may be watching discretely during the ceremony. Drinking whatever there is. Hopefully an open bar but I haven't asked.
WSR: I will not be on a boat. Despite watching my friends plan the amazing Washington sailgate since it's embryotic phase, I'm not able to go. So I'll be watching from suburban Saint Paul and drinking a Grain Belt or two.

IUinVA: The stars aligned for a Saturday birthday this year (I spent too much time figuring out if this is a simile, metaphor, idiom, double entendre, etc. I'm going with “hyperbole”). Kid fall ball in the morning, hours of dumb football watching, delicious takeout, then too much cake (I think I'm rolling with cheesecake). Pretty much all I want in life.
RUReady4Brazil: I'll be in Charlotte, NC still drinking cough medicine I'd imagine. Hopefully just for an actual cold, but Rutgers may struggle to get their first win of the season Friday night.
Brian: I’ll be in Ann Arbor to watch Michigan kick off the Big Ten season against an Iowa.
lincolnparkwildcat: I'll be at home, drinking IPAs from a local brewery watching the cats play the Hoosiers.
deadread: Lovely Downtown Lincoln. I'll be doing my thing.
MaximumSam: Chateau Westerville perhaps not drinking at all because my kid is in some marching band competition that may not end until midnight. WTF marching bands who came up with that?
MNW: Friday night, home in the Twin Cities burbs with a bonfire built, per Mrs MNW's wishes, for the Wildkits. That'll mean very little in the way of booze until all three of them are in bed, at which point I might have a consolation scotch because the 'Cats will be down 30.
The following day we'll be driving the girls a few hours to see the Large Public University game and staying overnight at a hotel with a zero-entry waterpark. So, y'know, a nice, relaxing weekend.
Kind of...: Greater Philadelphia area having turned downed a reasonably-priced ticket + parking pass offer to head to Happy Valley because Luke Fickell has hurt me too much already.
RMB: Same place I am every weekend, Pinky. TRYING TO TAKE OVER THE WORLD. (and also studiously avoiding the absolute rubbish football-like-substance Michigan and Iowa will be exhibiting, while shitposting like mad on the game threads.)
Transient Buckeye: I'll be getting part of the yard mowed in the morning, and settling in to watch football in the afternoon. Water early, shifting to Victory Golden Monkey as the sun nears the western horizon.
He was a high school QB: Southern Minnesota drinking some Schells Dark or Firebrick, enjoying the rain most likely.
HoustonBoiler: Weather permitting, I’ll be continuing my heroic campaign against clogged gutters. While I’m on the ladder, the beverage program will remain strictly still or sparkling water, G Zero if I get crazy; once both feet are safely back on the ground, I plan to graduate to wine and/or whisky. I’m also grateful we don’t have a Peacock subscription, because I have no desire to watch Purdue spill an alarming quantity of blood on the Ross-Ade Stadium turf.
AlmaOtter: I'll be in the belly of the beast, the hive of scum and villainy: the Mos Eisley Spaceport Columbus OH, for the Illibuck game.

Now you know our plans for the weekend. Please enlighten us about where you'll be and what you'll be drinking in the comments below. And hey, we know you didn't read this. 😉
