Week 3: B1G Six Pack

How did we do last week?

My god, 10/10 article title.

Week One was an outright disaster, and yet, we managed to be a full touchdown worse in Week Two. Only six players netted positive Petittis on the week, twenty were negative. This is where I’d try to impart some wisdom, but it’s not like I’m doing any better. Hey, maybe just think about all of the real money that you’re not losing with these picks!

Week 2 Winner:

Congrats to SkyBlueH2O for joining us in week two, and winning the whole dang week on a 4-2 record with 42.5 Petittis! If you’re reading this, but haven’t yet joined, now’s your chance. Next week, this could be YOU.

Six Pack Certified (6-0): None.

Pick of the Week: Oklahoma State +22.5 (SkyBlueH2O). Our Week 2 winner wisely ignored the predictions article from our esteemed “writers” (who all predicted Oregon to cover), and rode with the pokes. “Fade the writers” may very well turn out to be a prudent strategy.

This game requires a lot of data entry and I will make mistakes. Please let me know if you have any questions about scoring or if something looks wrong:

2026 OTR B1G Six Pack

Rules:

Make six picks every week. Correct picks are worth five points, incorrect picks are negative five points. Mark one of your picks as the Coldest Brew (CB), which will be worth ten points if correct, negative ten if incorrect. Bonus points are allocated based on deviation from the spread. Please include the spread with your pick (Iowa -3 (CB), Iowa/Opponent Over 36, etc). If anyone manages to get all six correct in a week, they’ll be Six Pack Certified and garner an additional twenty-five bonus points.

I’ll tabulate the scores and standings every week. If anyone missed previous weeks and would like to join, no problem! You’ll start at the current league median value of 946 Petittis. If I make any egregious errors (Ohio State as a 27 point underdog, when they are actually favored by 27), please let me know. Obvious spread errors won’t count.

Portland State at Oregon (-57.5), O/U 67.5

Saturday (early):
