Welcome to week 0. College football is back - whoop dee frickin' doo says the Purdue fans. This is the last week to collect points for our offseason trivia competition. A new competition will start in week 1. Let's see how everyone did last week before we get to this week's questions.

Oregon's "O" logo is a stylized letter designed to incorporate the shape of their two most important athletic facilities. The outer circumference of the O is shaped like an outline of Autzen Stadium while the inner loop represents Hayward Field's track.

2 What years does Washington claim national titles for in football?
1960 and 1991. The 1960 team defeated that year's AP and UPI national champions (Minnesota) in the 1961 Rose bowl. The 1991 team went 12-0 and #1 in the Coaches' Poll.

28 years. The university opened on November 4, 1861 as the Territorial University of Washington. It would close three times in the 1860s and 1870s (low enrollment and poor finances) and wouldn't have a graduate until 1876.
