Our Favorite Games of 2024

By my rough and likely inaccurate calculation, the Big Ten played in 81 conferences games and 154 total games last season. Some of them were stunning, exciting, wild affairs. And some of them involved Purdue!

As we approach the 2025 season and the second year of the Bigger Ten, we're going to take a look back at our favorite games from last season. These might not be the games that were the most impactful or important to the season's standings. Some might have been, but some were unranked affairs on Friday nights or mollywhoppings watched from a packed stadium, or a puntfest ugly enough to even make a Ferentz blush. In an era of the transfer portal, NIL, lawsuits and injunctions and conference shifting and all the rest, it's important to remember why we watch these games: At their best, they're fun. They're so goddamn fun.

Our Favorite Games from 2024: The Tallest Mountain in Ohio
The game wasn’t competitive. It wasn’t remotely close. Ohio State won 35-7 after 3 Emeka Egbuka TDs. Fans had already poured out of Ohio Stadium by the time Iowa put a damn point on the board, courtesy of a Kaleb Johnson 4th quarter garbage time run. Ohio State’s offense was
