For those who are new to WWBWWBD, this is where we pull back the curtain and find out what the OTR "writers" will be doing on gameday, because you all know they will not be watching college football.
Biff: I'll be here in Rochester, MN hopefully toasting an Everton victory and TCU creating a United Ireland with several Guinnesses. Guinnesseses. Guinnessi?
deadread: I shall be in beautiful downtown Lincoln, drinking coffee and feelin' fine.
misdreavus79: I'll be in the DR so y'all have fun! ...and I'll be drinking real coffee, not this watered down bullshit they make here.
MNW: I will be somewhere in the northwoods of wisconsin, tolerating my in-laws and trying to carve out 10 sweet, sweet minutes here and there to actually watch the 'Cats lose to South Dakota State, somehow. Beer will likely be a combination of New Glarus Moon Man (yum) and whatever bullshit Costco sampler pack (Bell's?) I left up there the last time we visited.
WSR: I'll be in suburban Saint Paul drinking an Irish Coffee or two, also celebrating TCU unifying Ireland, and praying that Manchester United doesn't go 0-2 against promoted teams to start the season.
lincolnparkwildcat: I'll be at home in suburban Chicago drinking the finest Revolution Brewing IPAs.
MaximumSam: My daughter started marching band, so I'll be in Chateau Westerville recovering from Friday Night Lights. Probably with an Elvis Juice.
BuffKomodo: Cincinnati. Water. Basement bar. The thought of drinking all day and feeding the infant at 3 AM makes me want to die.
BoilerUp89: Cincinnati. Whiskey.
Brian: I'll be ringing in the new Big Ten season not in person at the LA Coliseum, but rather in spirit at Lake Michigan. Can't think of a better way to spend the final weekend of the summer.
HoustonBoiler: At home in northeast New Jersey as I plan to install some gutter guards this weekend while, hopefully, not falling off a ladder. I'm recovering from a bad cold so I will likely stick to water, though if I'm feeling fancy, bubbly water.
AlmaOtter: I'll be in Northern Virginia for the early stretch, then heading up to – I guess southern Maryland? I don't know, across the river somewhere – to meet up with my wife OhioOtter's friends and their little ones for pizza and beer. Low 80s and overcast in the Mid-Atlantic in late August? Pizza and beer? Hilarious toddlers that I'm not obligated to directly care for? Hell yeah, I'll take it.
Thumpasaurus: I will be somewhere in southeast Michigan depending on the day, but Saturday seems like a Bell’s Two Hearted type of occasion
