Hey, all. The weekend winks at us, floating just beyond the horizon. Pitter patter, let's get at 'er.

  1. A bunch of long-distance swimmers will brave Lake Superior (aka Gitchi Gami) later this month in honor of the Edmund Fitzgerald, which sank 50 years ago this November. Cool event, but slightly tempting fate?
  2. Oh great, Fox Sports is partnering with Dave Portnoy and Barstool. McAfee's to the left of me, Portnoy's to the right, here I am. Maybe OTR needs a pre-game show.
  3. Our beloved conference is currently swinging that metaphorical thing around to lock in four guaranteed CFP slots, demanding that the SEC add one more conference game.
