More importantly: my regular reminder of the status of the Sherman Grants. We're closing in on $2k as a collective! It's kind of bewildering. I'm immensely appreciative of all of you playing along with this project and beyond proud of this bizarre little hovel of football degenerates.
EDIT:
Well, we sort of cleared $2k. And with this update, Oregon has taken a sizable lead over MSU, while Wisconsin is bumped down into third. 10/18 fanbases are in the game. New stretch goal is to get 14/18 teams on the table. Pitter patter, let's get at 'er.
Umm. Holy shit. We might actually clear last year's already truly astounding total before we even get to the CFP semi-finals. I have no words. I'm going to find some sort of whiskey and sit quietly for a few.
MIDMORNING UPDATE:
Hey, we've got 12/18 fanbases on the table! That's fantastic! Thank you to the Penn State fan and to the Indiana fan with the snarky extra cent to push juuuuuust past Purdue. This is absolutely amazing. We're closing in on $4,000.00. I'll let Benoit Blanc explain my feelings:
