Big Ten Tournament Finals: Beware the Ides of March
Et tu, Dusty?

Yesterday
Michigan Wolverine 68, Wisconsin Badgers 65
MaximumSam: The only important thing from this game was Aussie Austin Rapp making six threes. Crikey!
Purdue Boilermakers 73, UCLA Bruins 66
HoustonBoiler: UCLA was without Tyler Bilodeau and star PG Donovan Dent only played about 10 minutes before leaving the game with an injury. Hopefully both will be back for UCLA's NCAA tournament games. Purdue had another good start by scoring 15 straight points after UCLA made the first basket of the game, which was the only time UCLA would lead this game. UCLA did come back to tie the game late, but Purdue responded to retake the lead and win the game. Purdue had 10 turnovers, too many in my humble opinion, which UCLA had only 6. However, Purdue outrebounded UCLA 37-26, and had 13 offensive rebounds that led to 17 second chance points, which was a key difference in this game.

Purdue Boilermakers v. Michigan Wolverines

MaximumSam: Jon Rothstein has some gimmick where he gives coaches a nickname and then links to t-shirts you can buy with said nickname. We should get on that train.
Dusty May. Cocaine Muppet.
Matt Paint. Nerd Whisperer.
Links to t-shirts not available yet.
HoustonBoiler: But MaximumSam, why are those t-shirts not yet available? As we saw in the earlier matchup in Mackey Arena, this is a terrible matchup for Purdue. They will need the best possible game out of everyone who plays, and that still might not be enough to keep up with a very talented Michigan team.
AlmaOtter: I, too, would like to grift like Jon Rothstein!
