World Cup Recaps and Previews, Wednesday June 24: Time to Win or Go Home
For some teams, this is the end of the line
Alright, what did we learn last night?
- Rutgers 34, Ohio 31. That Rutgers rushing defense might not be very good. And the back half of their schedule is BRUTAL (closing out with Illinutgers, Penn State, and Ohio State in 3 of the final 4 games).
- Minnesota 23, Buffalo 10. I'll be honest, I didn't see much of this one (partially because I hated Minny's yellow jerseys). Minny pulled away in the 4th, but we had a M00B game for much of the first half.
- Wisconsin 17, Miami Hydroxide 0. The Curse of the Immediately Injured Wisconsin QB1 continues, but Wiscy figured it out in the second half. Much like the M00B game above, this was at M00W for a while. Not the proudest showing for the B1G across the board, but wins are wins.
- Nebraska 20, Cincinnati 17. Per that one dude's shirt, Nebraska almost always almost wins, but they actually pulled off a clutch 4th quarter tonight. Raiola cosplayed as Mahomes in Mahomes' own maHome, in front of the KC QB himself, no less. Hell of a way to end the evening. Good on you, 'skers.
