Parenthood, Pet Therapy, and Fireworks: One Night in the Life of a College Football Fan (Part 2)
Parenthood, Pet Therapy, and Fireworks
State of Indiana Rolls; Northwestern Visits Sparty, Rutgers to Illinois, Buckeyes at Duckeyes
MaximumSam: Powered by Lamar Wilkerson's 24, the Hoosiers didn't have too many problems with the Terps. We've got three undefeated teams and three teams at 3-1, though Illinois could join that group tonight.
BoilerUp89: The Boilers led by as many as 23 before taking their foot entirely way too much off the throttle. Uncharacteristic turnovers and lackadaisacal basketball allowed Washington to make the final score a lot closer and forced Purdue's starters to finish off the game even if it never got to just two possessions.
HoustonBoiler: @BoilerUp89 has already covered the main points. In spite of Washington's size, Purdue won the rebounding battle decisively (37-25), but IMO turned the ball over too many times (14). They need to keep the turnovers in single digits. However, a win is a win and I will take it.
6:30 ET, BTN
MaximumSam: We have a real case for the Detective. Tom Izzo kicked former Spartan Paul Davis out of the last game for yelling something at High Knees. Paul Davis issued a public apology for what he said. But the internet wants to know, what did Paul Davis say?
8:30 ET, BTN
MaximumSam: Rutgers goes for the two game winning streak.
BoilerUp89: The Illini play with their food too often and sometimes that results in a loss but they shouldn't have any issues with Rutgers.
10:30 ET, BTN
MaximumSam: Feels like this game is at a suitable time, but they could consider moving it to B1G+.
#190 Montana Grizzlies (8-7, 2-0) at #154 Idaho Vandals (9-5, 1-0), 9 ET, ESPN+
#150 Western Kentucky Hilltoppers (9-5) at #148 New Mexico State Aggies (8-5), 9 ET, ESPN+
#105 San Francisco Dons (11-6) at #133 Loyola Marymount Lions (10-7), 11 ET, CBSSN
#40 Santa Clara Broncos (13-4) at #7 Gonzaga Bulldogs (16-1), 11:30 ET, ESPN2
BoilerUp89: Really rough 7 o'clock hour of games. It gets slightly better late, but doesn't make up for a terrible slate of games overall.

We're kind of phoning it in right now, if we're being honest.
